“You are not only taking lives, but also destroying the lives of many people who know and love Baptista. You and your victims have appeared on social media because of a bit of inter-school banter,” he continued.
“The obsession with knives and violence is all too obvious,” he added.
“You always wanted Baptista to die. There was significant planning and pre-devotion,” he said.
Hillen also told Dyer that there was no outright provocation for him to commit murder, and Snapchat is definitely not a justification for any assault.
“You armed yourself with a knife and took him to the scene with the intention of committing murder. I am satisfied you are 15 years old and now 16 years old,” he said.

“I couldn’t stop crying, because his murder made no sense, especially considering Baptista was such a good boy,” he said.
“Baptista’s death has left a huge void in our lives, we lose it and think about it every day,” he continued.
The second youth, who is also 16 years old, was acquitted of murder and did not injure directly.
Dyer was arrested when his own mother took him to the Forest Gate Police Station and handed him over after she confessed to him.
