A road accident occurred on Tuesday around 18:00 in Étalans. A motorist traveling on the RD 387 in the direction of L’Hôpital-du-Grosbois would not have seen, probably due to the darkness, a group of four teenagers walking along the road.
500 m from the railway, it ran over two young men, one of whom was immediately transferred to the Besançon hospital for tests. The miner allegedly complained of shoulder pain. The four pedestrians are between 12 and 14 years old. Apart from the young man who took over the management of the hospital, the other three were taken from their parents.
Meanwhile, the driver was not injured.
Police and firefighters attended the scene of the accident.
Investigations are underway to understand the reasons for this collision between a car and pedestrians. The driver’s alcohol and drug tests came back negative.
