An altercation took place this Friday morning in front of the François-Rabelais college in Poitiers (Vienne). A little later, a 14-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of stabbing another with a knife. She was taken into custody.
The victim, a third year student who received a blow to the abdomen, was hospitalized at the Poitiers University Hospital. Her vital prognosis “is not engaged”, according to the prosecution, and according to her mother, questioned in the afternoon, “she is fine”.

The suspect had already threatened the victim
According to a witness at the scene, the fight broke out outside the school: “We heard screaming, we knew it was a stab. A girl left, she was not middle School”.
The suspected teenager is said to have fled. A handrail was filed Tuesday at the Poitiers police station, the latter having already threatened the victim.
Another young girl was punched in the altercation.
A psychological listening unit was set up for the students who witnessed the fight. “It is an ordinary establishment without any particular problem”, according to Thierry Claverie, director of the departmental services of National Education (Dasen), who indicates that “the educational community is shocked”.
The teenager must be referred on Saturday
A judicial investigation had to be opened for aggravated violence with weapon, premeditation and in front of a school establishment, having resulted in an incapacity of more than 8 days.
The young suspect is due to be referred on Saturday.
