A woman in her twenties who left the house saying to her family, “I will meet a friend,” went missing after getting out of the taxi. According to the police, Mr. A, who caught a taxi in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 10:30 pm on the 23rd, got off near Dangsan Station in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and was disconnected. Mr. A’s residence is Nowon-gu, Seoul.
– Found only coats and mobile phones
On the 25th, the police said, “We have received a report of the disappearance of Mr. A’s family and are conducting a related investigation.” The disappearance report was received on the morning of the 24th. A passerby found Mr. A’s coat and cell phone and brought it to a nearby district, and when he learned of this, Mr. A’s family reported it to the police. The taxi driver carrying Mr. A just before his disappearance said, “The place I set as my first destination was in the middle of a road covered with guardrails, so I dropped it off at a nearby shopping mall.”
Upon receiving the report, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station analyzes the closed circuit (CC) TV to determine the movement of Mr. A, and cooperates with the Hangang Police Force to find Mr. A. According to the police, no clear suspicion has been found, and the area where Mr. A’s belongings was found does not have CCTV installed. A police official said, “Until the discovery of Mr. A, the possibility of a violent case such as a kidnapping or an extreme option is open,” and said, “We are investigating using all possible methods.”
