Could getting a tattoo become a trivial act? The future of tattooing, it seems, does not necessarily include its indelible character: a New York start-up, Ephemeral, has developed an ink composed of biodegradable polymers which dissolves naturally after nine to fifteen months after injection, following the same principle as the traditional tattoo.
When he was studying at New York University, Joshua sakhai, one of Ephemeral’s three co-founders, wanted a tattoo. But “I was afraid to get involved”, he explained to AFP.
