Jay Chou, Taiwanese singer and actor associates with the PSG Endowment Fund for the good cause. Together, they will allow young people from Ile de France to be able to go on vacation this summer. On the program, sports activities, such as football, horse riding, or even mini-golf. These holidays will be the opportunity to discover Asian culture, through music and cinema. This collaboration is not the first interaction between the club and the new patronsince the latter had already met the Ile-de-France players the previous year.
A PSG commitment recognized by the Taiwanese singer
“When I came to the Parc des Princes in 2021, I met the teams of the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund and I was impressed by the work carried out with disadvantaged children, explains the Taiwanese singer, in a press release. If Paris Saint-Germain is so popular, it is also for its commitment and that of its players to the red & blue community. I am very happy to join the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund to allow more children in Ile-de-France to go on vacation.“ This is a theme that is dear to him, since since 2009 he has been spokesperson for the Fubon Charity Organization, which has helped more than 3,200 young people.
The Club’s Endowment Fund has a new patron
The PSG Endowment Fund has existed since 2013. Its aim is to create aid programs for children in difficulty, by collecting donations, in particular from patrons like Jay Chou. Through sport and other activities, the club’s Endowment Fund wants to transmit the values of solidarity and mutual aid to young people in precarious situations. It is not to be confused with the PSG foundation (itself created in 2000, with the same social aim), but the two combine to serve more than 250,000 people, who have benefited from their help, during these 20 last years. The donations allow “to step up efforts”so that they can continue to fulfill their dreams.
