If that someone were a police inspector who has followed that case for years and has come knocking on your door claiming that he has finally found his killer, how would you react? A suspicious husband: the plot of the film inspired by a true story

Alice she is a woman like many others, who lives her life in peace. She is married to Thomas and they have one son, Romain. She works as a nurse and takes care of her family and house in a small provincial town in France. One day someone knocks on the door and Alice’s world collapses under her feet. Her husband could pretend to be what she is not. On the surface, Thomas seems like a kind, thoughtful man who has been at her side for many years. But the police believe that Thomas lives below instead false identity for some time and that, 15 years earlier, it has killed his family in cold blood and then disappear into thin air, without a trace. But Sophie Lancelle, chief of police, has never forgotten that massacre and has never archived the research that then led her to the door of Alice and her husband Thomas. The latter, however, claims to be innocent. Who will Alice believe?

To play the protagonist is Laurence Arnewhile Thomas looks like Kad Merad. Sophie Lancelle is instead played by Geraldine Pailhas. The plot of the film is inspired by one true story: freely inspired by a still unsolved murder case which took place in 2011 and which involved five victims of the Dupont de Ligonnès family, whose bodies were found buried in the garden of their home in Nantes. The main suspicions fell on the head of the family, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, but the latter disappeared into thin air. Originally titled La part du soupçon, the film directed by Christophe Lamotte it came out in 2019 and arrives in the clear tonight on Rai 1.
