The defendant was thus found guilty of having established, for several months, an ongoing relationship with a 14-year-old girl. Facts date back to 2019, relates Le Parisien. At the time, the teacher, who had been in this college for four years, was 28.

He approaches a student: “talking about everything and nothing with her, that made me feel good”

The 14-year-old college girl quickly fell in love with her teacher. At the end of the school year, in June 2019, the teenager invited the teacher on a social network. Invitation that the young man had accepted and which he explains today: “I was going through a difficult time, my father had cancer and I never found support from my colleagues or my partner. Talking about everything and nothing with her, it made me feel good ”. The content of their exchanges was more than friendly, until the young man received, on Snapchat, a photo of the college girl in a bra. A snapshot that had also been sent to other friends of the teenager. The teacher said there was nothing he could do here, and that he had decided to put an end to these conversations during the summer vacation.

Kisses and caresses according to her

At the start of the next school year, the teacher found the teenager in third grade. And by September 12, alone in a classroom, the two had come dangerously close. “She was the one who tried to kiss me. I pushed her away and sent her a message telling her to stop ”. But according to the teenager, who admits having been in love with him, other kisses and caresses followed. It is the principal who, warned by the schoolgirl’s comrades, will put an end to this relationship by alerting the authorities and suspending the teacher. For the prosecutor, only the professor is to blame here: “If this relationship developed, it was because this student felt there was a possibility. This situation, it was up to you to avoid it ”.
