One new net was organized as part of the investigation into the robbery of the goldsmith company Frank and Person in May 2019 in Châtillon-le-Duc near Besançon. Four people were arrested overnight from Monday to Tuesday in the Doubs and among these suspects, there is a 25-year-old man, one of the alleged masterminds of the robbery, arrested in the Pontarlier sector. The specialized interregional jurisdiction (JIRS) of Nancy confirms his arrest within the framework of an open judicial investigation for association of criminals.
He had jumped out the window to escape
This robbery was committed on May 4, 2019, in the early morning: the robbers threatened the employees of the jewelry company and took 20 kilos of gold and platinum, for a value of one million euros, before fleeing. In September 2019, an impressive law enforcement operation was carried out with the arrest of six people. A search is carried out at the parents of this suspect in Thise, but this man takes advantage of a moment of inattention from the gendarmes to jump out the window from the house and run away, again.
Arrested in Haut-Doubs
actively sought after, investigators think they can find his trace in Algeria, where his brother was arrested in early 2020.
