The love story of a couple from Beijing, China had shocked the public because of its twist plot and tragic ending. The princess’ lover ends up killing her future mother-in-law for threatening her.
Reporting from eva.vn, the man named Yan Zhuo was originally just an ordinary youth. After graduating he did not continue his studies and did not have a steady job. He sometimes just worked repairing computers for a living.
At the age of 20 Yan Zhuo met Chen Jing, a freshman in the English department of a university in Beijing. Not wanting to be looked down upon, Yan Zhuo lied to Chen Jing. He claimed to own a computer repair company in the Haidian district, Beijing.
The longer Yan Zhuo and Chen Jing are getting closer and dating. The two even decided to live together and considered getting married after Chen Jing graduated from college.
In 2002 the relationship was discovered by Chen Jing’s mother, Chen Haiyan. Chen Haiyan, who was divorced and loved his daughter so much, was very worried. She immediately called her daughter and suggested breaking up with her boyfriend.
But because he was too in love, Chen Jing did not necessarily follow his mother’s advice. Chen Haiyan himself had tried many times to advise his daughter but to no avail. In the end, Chen Haiyan asked his daughter and lover to visit him.
In August 2002 Chen Jing took Yan Zhuo to meet his mother. At the beginning of their meeting, Chen Haiyan had a favorable impression of Yan Zhuo. Because Yan Zhuo has a handsome face, knows how to talk to parents, and says that he really loves Chen Jing.
One day Yan Zhuo decided to go to Chen Haiyan’s house to have dinner together and strengthen his relationship with his future in-laws. But unfortunately on that day Chen Jing was unable to attend because he went out to eat with his friends. In the end, only Chen Haiyan and Yan Zhuo were there.
Chen Haiyan and Yan Zhuo ate together while drinking and talking about life’s bitter experiences. Unexpectedly, the alcohol he drank made Chen Haiyan and Yan Zhuo drunk to the point of unknowingly having sexual intercourse.
The next day, Chen Haiyan was surprised to realize that he had had an illicit relationship with the princess’s boyfriend. He then advised his daughter to break up with Yan Zhuo. Chen Haiyan told Chen Jing that Yan Zhuo could not be trusted.
At that time Chen Haiyan noticed the change in Yan Zhuo and made him feel cheated. Chen Haiyan also immediately discovered that it turned out that what Yan Zhuo said was all lies. Yan Zhuo didn’t have a steady job, which made Chen Haiyan think about his daughter’s future if she stayed with this man.
Not wanting the princess to continue dating Yan Zhuo, Chen Haiyan then continued to coax and tease Yan Zhuo. The two even had sex a few times. But Yan Zhuo still insisted that he really loved Chen Jing and wanted to get back together with him.
On February 20, 2003, Yan Zhuo, who had been drinking alcohol, met Chen Haiyan again, intending to discuss his relationship with Chen Jing. But Chen Haiyan immediately said he didn’t agree and asked Yan Zhuo to stay away from his daughter. Chen Haiyan even threatened Yan Zhuo with a hot photo of the two of them. Chen Haiyan said he would hand him over to the police and accused Yan Zhuo of harassing him.
Hearing these words Yan Zhuo became very angry and strangled Chen Haiyan to death. Later, to avoid punishment, Yan Zhuo mutilated Chen Haiyan into 6 pieces and buried him on the banks of the Yongding River. Yan Zhuo then took Chen Haiyan’s passbook and cash.
Yan Zhuo’s plan went so smoothly that he got drunk and told his partner about the murder. Because of that, Yan Zhuo’s actions 4 years ago were exposed.
Finally on December 23, 2008 Yan Zhuo was sentenced to death by the Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court. The sentence was suspended for 2 years.
