Al-Marsad newspaper – Agencies: An American court has ruled that Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo be compensated with more than 300,000 dollars in exchange for the legal fees he spent while defending himself, in the case of “rape” allegations.
The case in which model Kathryn Mayorga alleged that the rape occurred in a hotel room in Las Vegas in 2009 was dismissed last June, after the judge found that the plaintiff’s lawyer, Leslie Stovall, was involved in “severe misconduct”. So much so that it would be impossible for the Portuguese star to get a fair trial.
On Wednesday, Nevada State Judge Jennifer Dorsey ruled that Stovall, the attorney, must pay Ronaldo $334,637.50.
