The former publisher of the US National Enquirer magazine, David Pecker, admitted on Tuesday at Donald Trump’s trial that the magazine completely fabricated a news story published in 2016, which Trump used at the time in his presidential campaign. NBC News reported on the matter.
In 2016, Trump competed for the Republican presidential nomination as a Texas senator Ted Cruz’s with. According to the fake news, Cruz’s father was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963, just before Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy.
