An extremely cheap electric car has appeared in Europe. The miniature city car is a cheap alternative to the Smart, reports Bild.
The new Elaris Pio (earlier the model was called Zhidou D2) is the work of the Chinese company Jiangsu Jintan Changdanghu. Not so long ago, she helped a world-famous German supermarket chain create its own electric car. It was in Germany that Pio made his debut.
The electric car Elaris Pio is a compact three-door hatchback with a length of only 2810 mm. It has a simple design with a large angle of inclination of the windshield, teardrop headlights and a wide grille.
The salon is two-seater, and also received a digital instrument panel and an 8.3-inch touch screen. Elaris Pio equipment includes air conditioning, rear view camera and ABS.

The price of the Elaris Pio in Europe starts at 15,469 euros. But in Germany, for example, the car is not sold, but leased for 2 years. The prepayment is 4,500 euros, but the amount is fully compensated by the state with a subsidy for electric cars.
That is, for leasing, only a monthly payment is required – 29 euros for legal entities and 78 euros – for individuals. For two years it is 696 and 1872 euros, respectively. The only condition is that the mileage does not exceed 10,000 km per year, otherwise you will have to pay extra. /auto.blitz.bg
