Next Sunday in Jardín América there will be a tribute championship to Julio Alberto López, as the closing of the chess year at the Germano Argentino club in the town.
In this regard, Oscar Soley, renowned chess player, in dialogue with El Territorio said: “It will be a tribute to the five-time missionary champion of the Missionary Chess Federation (FeMiDA)”.
In addition, the championship will start from 08.30, there will be referees and prizes for the first four places.

Another tribute to be made has to do with football, in this case the former goalkeeper “Juancho” Aguirre, who saved in the Club Jardín América, as well as in the teams of the Liga Posadeña and in Corrientes.
For this tribute, there will be the presentation of great missionary players, Huracán de Posadas, the Eldorado team and friends of the honored soccer player.
The start will be from 4:00 p.m. in the sports complex of the Garden America Veterans Association.
