SAN BUENAVENTURA, COAHUILA.- In San Buenaventura, more than 190 pets, including dogs and cats, received the vaccination on Sunday organized by the Department of Health.
Councilor Martha Elena Davila and Director Guadalupe Leija said that with the aim of promoting animal care, protection and disease prevention, this event was held on Sunday morning, October 27.
The Sports Unit was a meeting place for families protecting pets for the free vaccination and deworming day, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, serving nearly 200 dogs and cats.
In addition to applying the rabies vaccine, which is necessary to prevent the spread of rabies, a fatal disease that affects the nervous system, instructions were given on special care for pets .
This campaign is vital, as it not only protects pets from serious diseases, but also helps to prevent intestinal parasites, such as worms, which affect the health of animals and people.
“It was a very fun day and a lot of learning for everyone because family harmony includes the four legs of home education,” the health authorities emphasized .
