The 23rd Victoriaville Tigres blood drive, which took place last Monday at the Agri-Sports Pavilion in Victoriaville, was once again a success.
This blood drive received 234 donors. It is therefore more than 930 people who will be able to receive a “gift of life” thanks to this outpouring of generosity from Tigers supporters and the population in general. The target of 225 donors was therefore exceeded.
“We are very happy with the results. We would like to thank everyone who donated, as well as Héma-Québec and the Plus Restaurant Bar, for their superb collaboration,” said Martin Paquet, director of operations for the Tigres.
The organizers would also like to thank Héma-Québec employees and the many volunteers who welcomed the donors, for directing them effectively during the event. “The organization would like to particularly thank Patrice Cantin from Héma-Québec and Myriam Tardif from Plus Restaurant Bar, who were key players in this 2023 Tigers Blood Drive,” adds Mr. Paquet.
