There are sore losers, there are fun losers and there is Kiran: perhaps the smartest loser in ‘Expedition Robinson’ history. With this move he creates a big twist in ‘Expedition Robinson’, which is especially disturbing to Timor.

“And then a bombshell hits me that really ruins my ambition”

Kiran, one of the tians of this Robinson’s Journeyseason, winning test after test. Not in the last episode: while facing Timor on Winner’s Island he draws the short straw, meaning the windsurfer has to go to the island’s council. Is he upset about that? No, it turns out that he lost for a reason.

After Timor’s victory, in a clip from earlier that day that has yet to be shown, you can hear Kiran telling Nouchka that he intends to spoil the match on purpose. “I have an idea that I might lose Timor consciously soon, so that I can be on the island’s council and also use my votes within our little club,” said Kiran. that could be more beneficial in the long run [voor een] a stronger bond.”

When Timor then realizes that Kiran, Marijn and Nouchka have sewn on his ear, his coconut, er, clog, breaks.

Before the three go to the island’s council, Timor asks who they are going to vote for. Although the viewer gets the plan to vote out Vincent or Marijn at the beginning of the episode, the arrows seem to be aimed at another member of the journey. Timor doesn’t know what to hear when Marijn mentions Joy, Timor’s loyal friend.

“And then a bomb hits me that destroys my desire. They just tell me that they are going to vote for Joy,” Timor looks back on that moment in front of the camera “I realized immediately that they played me. Didn’t they intentionally tell me beforehand that they were going for Joy, because they know I would have intentionally lost my immunity coin or used it to save Joy. Now I have won, I am powerless. I can’t do anything anymore.”

Timor tells Marijn what the issue is if she is indeed going to vote for Joy. “Then you break trust with me a little, I feel. Joy is my friend,” the dancer, who especially misses the music of Kanye West, Chris Brown and Beyoncé on the deserted island, says tell the vlogger.

Kiran understands that Timor is tortured. But yes: “I want to go to the council of the island to implement this plan. And if he knew about this, he would want to go to the council of the island to prevent this. (… ) He’d love to be in control, but he’s It’s now just too late.

To leave Winner’s Island on good terms, Kiran decides to take Timor aside. “This is not at all between you and me, because I still gave you my word that I do not want to vote for you. I hope you understand that too, that it is separate from what go on here.” “I sincerely hope so,” replied Timor, shaking Kiran’s hand.

And so it happened that Joy got the most votes at the island council and his trip was established. “I’ll take it as a compliment,” he says, after which Marijn puts all her cards on the table. “We had an open discussion with Timor and the choice I made was very difficult, but I see you as a very strong player and you can certainly take it as a compliment,” she explains to Joy.

The group say goodbye to Joy with big hugs, who can now return to his B&B much love Dani in Spain. When Arthur asks to whom he wants to leave the voice that is still inside him, Joy answers firmly: “For my best friend Ramon.”

Robinson’s Journey can be seen every Sunday at 8pm on RTL 4 and can be watched again on Mondays on Videoland.
