KOMPAS.TV – A woman from Bangkalan, East Java, reported a case of abuse she received to the Bangkalan Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
The victim came with his family and was accompanied by the Task Force for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Violence from one of the campuses in Bangkalan.
The Taskforce for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Violence, which provided support, said the victim had been abused by her boyfriend.
The video that went viral on social media shows the abuse committed by the perpetrator against the victim, not for the first time, but four times since April 2024.
The two are lovers who are both enrolled as students.
From the results of the investigation, there were many signs of physical violence on the victim’s body. The scars resulting from the violence are thought to be the result of punches, scratches and even bites.
After reporting, the family and the victim will provide legal treatment and resolution of the case to the police.
