The Blaugrana culminated this week, on Sunday January 15th, with the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, following their victory against Real Madrid.
Coach Xavi’s men have returned to Spain, and the team will play Thursday evening directly in the King’s Cup against Ceuta, the meeting that will be played 892 km from Barcelona in the city that is geographically located on the continent of Africa, but is under Spanish rule.
A few days after the cup match, Barcelona will return to Catalonia and the European continent to play next Sunday evening for La Liga against its guest, Getafe, at its “Camp Nou” stadium.
Barcelona is currently competing on three fronts, locally through the League and the King’s Cup, and continentally in the European League after bidding farewell to the Champions League.
