Apply a weather alert

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) published a storm alert for the departments of La Capital, San Jerónimo and Garay, in the province of Santa Fe. The notice is for the early this Thursday.

According to the agency, the area will be affected by rains and storms of varying intensity, some locally strong. They can be accompanied by gusts, occasional hail, intense electrical activity and, fundamentally, abundant water falls in short periods. Accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 50 millimeters are expected, and may be exceeded in a timely manner.

Given the alert, the Municipality recommends that residents not take objects or waste out onto public roads that could hinder the normal runoff of rainwater. In addition, it is recalled that, after rainfall, clearing actions must be carried out in patios, emptying or discarding containers where water could accumulate.

Queries or complaints can be made to the Citizen Attention System, by calling 0800-777-5000.
