Here’s how to download and use a template to create a professional resume. You’ll see how to cut and paste parts of your old resume, then make sure the fonts and line spacing look perfect.
Formatting a resume using a template
Whether you’re online or offline, go to FILE > New and search for Resume.
Preview and click the file you want to open.
You can start typing immediately or cut and paste text into the document.
After pasting old text, it may look funny or not formatted correctly. Press CTRL to display paste options and select an option such as Keep Text Only. The text then uses the font and formatting of the new resume.
