A statue of a pregnant woman offered to the city of Nîmes, in homage to all mothers. Pascale Hijazi, mother from Nîmes, designed and fully funded this substantial work of art – three meters high, for three tons of stone from the Pont du Gard sculpted by an artist from the Gard.
“Look at his face, it’s heart shaped” describes Pascale Hijazi. “She didn’t _no eyes, no nose, no mouth, so that all mothers can identify themselves_. She has her gaze turned to her belly which contains life, her round breasts filled with the healthiest food. It’s a tribute to all moms. “
What location?
While waiting for an official location in the city, the mothers of Nîmes evoke their dream location for this three-meter high work.

The statue is currently waiting in a workshop in Saint-Gilles, where it was made.
