Lawyer Ahmed Mahran filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor accusing a football official of the crime of adultery with his client’s wife.
“Mahran” stated in its communication, which bore the no. 55399 of 2022, that her husband – assisted by her – found a “flash” containing a video clip, during which the wife presented herself with the football referee, committing an “act of adultery” within an apartment in the Azbakeya neighborhood.
The notice required that legal action be taken against the defendants. He noted that article 274 of the penal code provides that the married woman whose adultery is proven is punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years, and the partner of the adulterer is punished with the same penalty as provided for in the text of the article 275 of the penal code.
The author continued: “In our concern for the husband’s right to bring criminal proceedings in defense of honor and honor and the absence of intermingling of lineages and in defense of moral, social and religious values, we ask for a investigation into what happened”.
