Doha: a stash of prohibited tobacco seized while trying to smuggle to Qatar. It was seized by the maritime customs department at the port of Hamab.
A tobacco and supari warehouse weighing approximately 2962.5 kg was found hidden in wooden sacks. Officials confirmed possession of supari (betel nut) weighing approximately 118,800 kg and the substance branded vimal gutkha weighing 220 kg.
