/ world today news/The Government of the Russian Federation decided to create a special economic zone of the industrial-production type “Stupino Kvadrat” on the territory of the Stupino district of the Moscow region, according to a message on the government’s website.
According to the announcement, the creation of such a zone will increase the investment attractiveness of the region, will create conditions for the creation of competitive processing and high-tech productions of small and medium-sized business entities, will allow the creation of new jobs.
As noted by TASS, “Stupino Kvadrat” was created with the aim of stimulating the socio-economic development of the Moscow region by creating additional jobs, attracting investments and increasing tax revenues in the federal and regional budgets.
It is indicated that among the prerequisites for the creation of the special zone are the competitive economic-geographical advantages of the territory for the realization of investment projects, the availability of qualified specialists, convenient transport connections. It is planned to locate enterprises in the area of instrument and mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, for the production of biological products and foodstuffs, construction materials.
