A special duet dedicated to the State of Qatar on the occasion of the 2022 World Cup, by the Kuwaiti artist Muti’ Al-Awni, by the Kuwaiti composer Ahmed Khorshid, and the realization of “Mahdi Al-Kout”.
Where it includes the words (Oh God, peace be upon the splendor of Qatar), it was stated in a private interview by Kuwaiti composer Ahmed Khorshid, that the work was prepared in advance and in collaboration with the artist Muti’ Al- Awni, we performed a special dedication duet to the sister country of Qatar on the occasion of the World Cup.
This occasion is not only for our Qatari brothers! We are all Gulf Arabs and the truth is that we are very happy with this Gulf Arab wedding that is taking place in the State of Qatar. Also pride and honor. Therefore, we would like to participate in this beautiful occasion.
It is said ….. that the composer Ahmed Khorshid comes from a family of Kuwaiti artists
It belongs to his mother’s brother, “his uncle”, the late great artist Abdul-Hussein Abdul-Ridha, as he has many works in which he participated, including the play Saif Al-Arab and The Rope of Mawaddah series.
