An official source in Al-Ahly club denied the rumors about obtaining the first part of the team’s Nigerian Junior Ajay deal, confirming that Al-Ahmar did not receive any dues from him for the Tunisian club Sfaxi, which amounts to $ 125 thousand.
And that amount was mistakenly transferred to Sfaxien during the reign of Al-Ahly’s former Board of Directors headed by Mahmoud Taher, after Ajay moved to the Egyptian League champion in the summer of 2016 for 2.5 million euros.
“Al-Ahly has addressed Sfaxi more than once, the last of which was last week in order to pay the amount in installments as agreed, but the Tunisian club has not sent any sums so far,” the source said in exclusive statements to Laila Koura today, Friday.
He added that Al-Ahly’s dues in general have more than one side, whether the Sfaxien club on Ajay or the Tunisian coastal star regarding Soleimani Coulibaly or Stoke City of England regarding Ramadan Sobhi. .
The source concluded his statements by saying: “Consequently, Al-Ahly appreciates such matters and understands them well. Once the crisis is over and the epidemic is over, all legal methods will be taken to obtain all the club’s dues.”
