It’s not just Fourvière in life! While the light show will keep Lyon’s famous basilica ablaze until the beginning of January 2023, another sound and light show enchants the inhabitants of the region. Direction Villeurbanne and the facade of the Hôtel de Ville which houses a magnificent free and open-air show every evening from 16 December 2022 to 1 January 2023.
titled ” Vital » (contraction of « Villeurbanne ” and ” Capital »), this show pays homage to culture in all its forms recalling the artistic events of the last few months (in the context of Villeurbanne 2022, French capital of culture) through a superb color video-mapping imagined by the famous company of “ Dream appetizers ».
The show is repeated every evening from 18:00 to 21:00 and lasts about twenty minutes. We find there the great highlights where the inhabitants of Villeurbanne and the many actors of the events of the year will be able to meet. On the menu: 7 paintings including light effects, photos and illustrations offering a luminous retrospective of this exceptional year for the city of Villeurbanne.
