The head of the Ars of the capital region defended himself against “stigmatizing this or that category”, and moreover welcomed the efforts made by private institutes to maintain the “after-hours care points” while they had planned to close them temporarily.
“But we really must all be united – city medicine, clinics, public hospitals”, he stressed, expressing the “need” that liberal doctors, nurses and pharmacists also play their “advisory role” in “this critical situation”.
Lack of staff
The triple winter epidemic, bronchiolitis, Covid-19 “and above all influenza, which is particularly strong”, joins “the lack of staff in the hospitals of the Ile-de-France region”, explained Amélie Verdier.
