It was, apparently, a completely normal match in Ligue 2 which was played this Friday afternoon, at the Hainaut stadium. Valenciennes received Sochaux in this advanced duel of the 7th day. A rather dull match, which ended with a score of 0-0.
A heavy penalty to be expected?
But it was at the end of Mr. Gaillouste’s whistle that things got worse. After a scuffle, Ousseynou Thioune, player of Sochaux, went to the goalkeeper of the northern club, Jérôme Prior, to bite him in the cheek, as explained in more detail by L’Est Républicain.

The beIN SPORTS journalists present on site then explained that Jérôme Prior went to the referees’ locker room to explain the situation. One thing is certain: this case is likely to cause noise at the next disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League.
