A snowstorm in the United States has left a million homes without electricity

Note that a severe storm hit the states of New York and Michigan, and the storm itself comes from the Midwest – a region of the United States where the northern part of the Great Plains and the border with Canada are located. Cold winter cyclones often form here, moving towards the east coast.

Heavy snowstorms are observed in this part of the United States: the roads are covered with snow in many places, plus the excitement at sea has intensified.

Previously, tens of thousands of people were left without electricity after snowfall in the northeastern United States.

The media write that up to half a meter of snow fell in the New England region and in some areas of the state of New York.
