It’s official, A Small Favor 2 is now a reality and will reunite the team from the original film, as announced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack will reprise their roles in this sequel. Paul Feig also returns as director.
The long-awaited second part is a co-production with Lionsgate and continues the story of A Simple Favor, which was a critical and public success, grossing more than $97 million at the global box office.

The script, based on characters by Darcy Bell, is written by Jessica Sharzer, screenwriter of the first film, with collaboration from Paul Feig.
What we will see in A Small Favor 2
The sequel will feature the return of Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively), heading to the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman.
Along with her glamorous guests, murder and betrayal are also expected to RSVP to a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from Marina Grande to Capri Square.
The film plans to begin production this spring and premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries.
