A slight increase in the water level continues in the Daugava

The water level in Jēkabpils increased by 33 centimeters this week, in Daugavpils – by 63 centimeters.

The water level in Daugava near Jēkabpils has reached its highest level since August 10 this year, the water level near Daugavpils is the highest since July 16.

In other Latvian rivers, the water level fluctuates slightly.

The water temperature in rivers, lakes and the sea is +8 .. + 13 degrees.

There will be little rainfall in the next few days. Meteorologists predict it will likely rain more starting October 15.
