On Friday evening, fans of the talent of the singer Ainara Mielava could listen to the concert on the stage of Vīgantes Park. “Talk to yourself” – that was the name of Ainar Mielava’s concert program.
Ainars Mielavs admitted to those gathered that he was in Vīgante and Staburaga for the first time. The singer liked this place, and promised to return here one more time. With songs and his stories, Ainars spoke not only to himself, but also to the audience.
In them, he explained the beginning of his career as a musician. He made his debut as a singer with the song “Nedalāmā” by Uldas Marhilēvičs. Ainars also admitted that it was not possible to write a new song under the influence of the Ukrainian war. Since he graduated from the Academy of Arts, Mielava’s first photo exhibition will be opened on November 21 and his first book of photos will be published, in which poetry will also be printed. During the concert, famous songs were performed, such as “You thrill me”, “Falcon running in the sky”, “Labrador”, “Esi man ta” “Oh, eat my light mind!” and others. Rudolfs Macats played the accompaniment. Among the younger ones, Ainars chose to sing “220 volts”, which surprised him with depth. He is the author of the words and one of the music authors of this song.
