Al-Marsad Newspaper: A food safety and quality specialist, Fahd Al-Saeed, said that shawarma is one of the most poisonous foods in Saudi Arabia, according to statistics.
He added, during his Al-Rased appearance, that they found a shawarma shop that melts the meat in the toilets and another shop that puts pesticides on shelves next to the meat.
And Al-Saeed went on to say that one of the shops left the meat at room temperature in “the height of summer,” adding that he found another shawarma restaurant melting the meat near the sewage holes.
