The attack took place at noon near the Salado River

Oaxaca, Oax.- A group of gunmen carried out a shooting in the western area of the capital, which resulted in the death of one man and two others injured, the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Oaxaca (FGEO) reported.
The attack took place at noon on Wednesday 5 October, on the banks of the Salado River, in the metropolitan area of the capital, near a school complex and the municipality of San Antonio de la Cal.
According to the first reports issued by the State Investigation Agency (AEI), a group of subjects traveling on a motorcycle shot multiple times the driver of a suburban white truck, who was killed by several gunshots.
Faced with the attack, the driver lost control and ended up crashing into a bottled water dispensing unit, whose driver and co-pilot were injured by the impact between the units, which were conveyed by the emergency corps in a hospital to receive medical treatment.
On the spot, elements of the State Police, a Control Prosecutor and staff of the Institute of Forensic Sciences arrived to cordon off the area and carry out the first investigations, as well as supplementing the investigative file 34358 / FDAI / UEIH / 2022 for the murder of a man.
Meanwhile, elements of the State Police have deployed an operation in the area to capture the people involved in this crime.
