Today, Saturday 07-1-2023, construction material prices recorded an increase in Egypt which is a shock for contractors.
The price of investment iron rose, as well as the price of Ezz Dekheila Steel Company, after yesterday’s drop, as well as the price of gray cement, on Friday, to continue the increase it witnessed yesterday.
The Daily Prices Portal, in its daily update of the various prices of food and basic necessities and building materials, revealed the new prices of building materials today, Saturday 7 January, in the local markets, as follows:

Iron price
Today, Saturday, the price of investment iron in Egypt rose to 26,280.56 lbs per ton, up from 25,020.41 lbs per ton on Friday.
Today, Saturday, Ezz El Dekheila steel price increased to 27241.86 lbs per ton, up from 25259.09 lbs per ton on Friday.
Cement price
The price of gray cement also rose today, Saturday, to 1947.09 lbs per ton, up from 1936.79 lbs per ton yesterday, Thursday.
