84.44 percent of those registered with coronavirus infection for the day are unvaccinated

Nearly 3,500 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data published in the Unified Information Portal.

A total of 3471 cases were detected using 23,480 tests. 84.44 percent of the cases for the day are unvaccinated.

The death toll for the last day was 157, bringing the number of victims of the pandemic to 21,813. A total of 92.99 percent of those who died during the day were not vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 524,333 cases have been confirmed in Bulgaria, of which 51,858 are active. 450,662 were cured, including 1,862 in the last 24 hours. 907 are newcomers to a hospital, and 90.63 percent of them are unvaccinated. With this, the number of hospitalizations with Covid-19 reached 5,505, of which 472 are in the intensive care unit.

5,166 vaccines were given in the last 24 hours, of which 4,992 were booster doses. A total of 1,365,088 people have completed the vaccination cycle.
