The number of people infected in the Czech Republic rose sharply on Friday. By 6 pm, the Ministry of Health registered 343 new cases. This is the second highest increase since the beginning of the epidemic.
The current record is 377 infected on March 27. It cannot be ruled out that it will be overcome after crediting the cases found between six and midnight.
Currently, 4,938 people are fighting Covid-19, the number of victims has risen to 410. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 21,388 people have been infected, and 16,040 have recovered. Hospitals have 108 patients with coronavirus.
The most affected district in the last week in terms of 100,000 inhabitants is Uherské Hradiště (44.3 infected), followed by Plzeň-sever (36.26) and Kolín (35.08). Prague has over 32 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
