A sexagenarian, who had left to go along the coast, is missing in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins in Loire-Atlantique. The alert was given by the husband and sister-in-law of this 66-year-old woman, report our colleagues from West France and of Ocean Press. Worried about not seeing her return from her walk along the Atlantic coast that started on Tuesday, July 20 at around 8 a.m., they alerted the emergency services.
From 3 p.m., the gendarmerie opened an investigation for a worrying disappearance and deployed a twenty gendarmes to try to find it, without success for the moment.
The missing woman is a Rennes resident on vacation in the region with her in-laws, who knew a little about the area. At 7:30 p.m., a gendarmerie helicopter was still flying over the area between Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins and Saint-Nazaire near the coast.
