The firefighters quickly intervened to take care of the victim. Severely injured, the man was first transported to Sarrebourg hospital, then Nancy. His life is not in danger but several weeks of ITT (temporary incapacity for work) have been prescribed to him.
The gendarmerie, notified the day after the assault by the parents of the victim, opened an investigation. After several hearings, the man suspected of being the author of the facts, a 20-year-old Alsatian living in a town near Saverne, could be identified. According to his words, the altercation was caused by inappropriate behavior on the part of the victim towards the girlfriend of the aggressor. Left at liberty, he will be summoned to court on February 4.
