A fatal encounter between 3 vehicles on Route 75, near the Shear Hamakim interchange, led to a serious car accident today (Tuesday). After rescue operations, MDA medics and paramedics had to determine the death of a 40-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy.

They provided medical treatment on the spot and evacuated to the Rambam Hospital an 18-year-old young man in moderate condition with bruises on his body and another injured in a minor condition.
An emergency medic from the MDA’s motorcycle unit, Israel Meir Menachem, said: “This is a very serious car accident between 3 vehicles. The vehicles were far from each other. We divided the teams and in one of the vehicles we saw a 40-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy trapped unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing.”
One of the vehicles damaged in the accident,
“During the rescue operations, we performed medical tests, but their injuries were critical and we had to pronounce them dead on the spot. A young man about 18 years old was walking around the scene of the accident while he was fully conscious and suffering from minor bruises on his body. We gave him medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital while continuing Medical Care”.
