Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Shareholders of three state-owned Islamic banks have finally announced the clarity of the scheme the merger of PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk Tbk (BRIS), PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), and PT Bank BNI Syariah (BNIS).
The public shareholders of BRIS will later be diluted to only 4.4% in the merger process of the BUMN sharia bank. Meanwhile, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) will become the dominant shareholder of BRIS with ownership of up to 51% in the merger scheme of these three state-owned sharia banks.
