Jakarta –
Alfamart franchise buyer CV Andalus Makmur Indonesia opened its voice after reporting 2 directors of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart) to the police. Through his attorney Jimmy Manurung, CV Andalus explained the problem.
It was explained that Andalus Makmur Indonesia was a franchisee who felt aggrieved by Alfamart and finally reported the two directors of the minimarket network company to Polda Metro Jaya.
The reported directors are Soeng Peter Suryadi and Tomin Widian. The report was submitted on June 6, 2021 at the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Polda Metro Jaya.
“We reported them both because they signed the franchise agreement,” Jimmy said in a written statement received detik.com, Thursday (5/8/2021).
His party also told the chronology, which started on September 19, 2013, when Sumber Alfaria Trijaya and CV Andalus Makmur Indonesia, represented by Ihlen Manurung, signed a franchise agreement.
At the beginning of the cooperation, CV Andalus Makmur Indonesia signed a contract agreement under the hand and not notarized with Sumber Alfaria Trijaya.
Then, during the five years of operation, Jimmy’s client felt a lot of irregularities, according to the contents of the contract CV Andalus Makmur Indonesia as a franchisee (franchise rights holder) was given training on how to manage a store, but according to Jimmy, Alfamart was the one who managed the store himself without involving client at all.
“So our clients are like passive,” he said.
