A section of Monte das Moas street in A Coruña will be pedestrianized from this Monday | Radio Coruña

He A Coruña City Council will pedestrianize from this Monday until September 15 a section of the Monte das Moas street, between Avenida da Concordia and Calle Ángela Blanca Soto, the local government reported in a statement this Sunday.

For this pedestrianization, the reconversion of the streets Compostela and Alcalde Marchesi is taken as a model. In this way, from Monday only vehicles destined for loading and unloading will be able to pass until 11.00 am.

In order to inform citizens of this change, there will be elements such as flowerpots that will prevent the passage of road traffic, has indicated the City Council, which has claimed its “commitment to quality of life and architecture.” His intention is, he added, to make the city become “an example of sustainability.”
