A Second World War bomb found in Northern Ireland

Belfast: Unexploded World War II bomb found in Northern Ireland Following this, more than four hundred homes were evacuated as part of a security precaution. The item was found in a suspicious location in Newtown, 15 km from Belfast.

Later it came to light that it was an unexploded bomb during the Second World War. It is expected to take five days to neutralize. A barricade has been erected and access to the area is restricted.

Officials also informed that an emergency support center has been established. Thousands of unexploded World War II bombs are reported to be lying around in various parts of the world.
