a second suspect placed in police custody according to the Poitiers prosecutor’s office

New acceleration in the investigation into the disappearance of the young couple three months ago in Deux-Sèvres. After the arrest of a first suspect on Tuesday February 28, a second person was placed in police custody on March 1.

A new boost in the investigation this Wednesday, March 1. A second suspect was arrested, he has been in custody for 14 hours. He is a 22-year-old young man arrested in La Rochelle according to the Poitiers prosecutor’s office which announced him this Wednesday evening.

An arrest, which would be the consequence of the statements of the first suspect, Tom T., arrested yesterday February 28 in Vendée, at Aiguillon-sur-Mer and still in police custody in Niort.

According to information from our colleagues from Le Parisien this Wednesday, the latter would deny any involvement in the disappearance of Kevin and Leslie, whom he was to host the night we lost track of them.

He would have told investigators that this case would be linked to drug trafficking and would have told them of other people involved, including the suspect arrested on March 1.

At the end of his police custody, Tom T. could be brought before the investigating judge and indicted this Thursday, March 2.

The public prosecutor of Poitiers announces that a press release will be issued Thursday, March 2 at the end of the day to provide an update on the investigations.
