The transfer of French footballer Raphael Varan from Real Madrid to Manchester United is said to be a done deal.
“According to media reports, both clubs agreed on Monday on the transfer of the 28-year-old defender. The severance pay is in the amount of 50 million euros plus bonuses,” the dpa agency reports.
Real, whose jersey the player has been wearing since 2011, allegedly originally asked for 80 million euros. After undergoing a medical examination, Varane should sign a five-year contract in Manchester.
