“Our protests are purely economic. The only thing I can comment on is that at the beginning of the protests we were told that we were close to GERB, and now we are close to Putin. Our demands are the same as in the beginning, “Miltenova said.
She called for talks between carriers and the authorities to return to professional dialogue.
“We are currently preparing legal changes for the National Assembly, which will provide an opportunity to regulate the price of electricity,” said Dobrin Ivanov, executive director of BICA.
He added that negotiations between the government and business should be between legitimate representatives.
