A Samsung that lasts a week. The Galaxy A32 has become a monster that you can charge from zero to one hundred in 7 hours – SamsungMania.cz

On Reddit, one of the users boasted about the remake of the Galaxy A32 from which it was created BrickPhone. The phone, which really looks like a brick after major surgery, packs a 30,000 mAh battery. The author of this remake removed the back cover and took out the original battery, which he replaced with six Samsung 50E cells connected in parallel. Each of them has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

The phone itself is a far cry from its original form, as the battery is simply glued to the back of the phone. It clearly resembles a “brick”. Even though the system cannot correctly recognize the battery capacity (the current capacity indicator lights up at 1% because the battery capacity has not been adjusted in the system core), this giant battery should be able to power the Galaxy A32 for a week on a single charge. This takes a full 7 hours by the way!

There are also two USB-A ports and a USB-C port for charging other devices on the “phone”. The battery itself can be recharged via USB-C, Lightning or via microUSB. Each of the batteries weighs 69 grams, if we add the weight of the basic model without the battery, we get, according to the author of the conversion, to roughly half a kilogram. The endurance is very interesting, but the appearance of the phone suffers a lot. Something tells us you definitely wouldn’t be allowed on a plane with a phone that looks like that…
